Plain weave:
The plain weave fabric has many intertwined points, the texture is firm and the surface is flat, and the appearance of the front and back sides is the same, lighter and thinner, and better in air permeability. The plain structure determines its density is low. Generally, the price of plain fabric is relatively low. But there are also a few plain fabrics that are more expensive, such as some high-end embroidered fabrics.
Twill:
The twill fabric is better recognized because the interlaced points of the warp and weft of the twill fabric form a certain angle of the twill line structure on the surface of the fabric. Its characteristics are that there are positive and negative points, fewer interlacing points, longer floating lines, softer feel, higher density, thicker products and stronger stereoscopic structure.
Satin:
The satin weaving process is more complicated, and only one of the warp and weft yarns is covered in a floating form. The satin is covered with a surface covered by a floating length; Longer float lines give the fabric a better gloss and reflect light. Therefore, if you look carefully at the cotton satin fabric, you will feel a faint lustre.
If a long-gloss filament yarn is used as the float line, the gloss of the fabric and the reflectivity to the light will be more prominent. For example, the silky jacquard fabric has a silky bright effect.
The long lines in the satin fabric are prone to wear, fuzzing or fiber smearing. Therefore, such fabrics have lower strength than plain weaves and twill weaves. Fabric satin of the same yarn count is denser and thicker, and the cost is higher.
Jacquard:
The fabric of the jacquard fabric changes the warp and weft structure during weaving to form a flower pattern, and the yarn count is fine, which requires extremely high raw materials. The warp and weft of the jacquard fabric are intertwined and floated to form various patterns. The texture is soft, the texture is fine and smooth, the finish, drape and breathability are good, and the color fastness is high.
